Direct only · no portal, no commission, no instant confirmation
A person reads this, looks at the book, and writes back the same day with one number and one price. If the house is full we will say so rather than offer you something you did not want.
The key to 202, left in the door by a guest who came back for it · 15:48
Nothing is taken until we have written back and you have said yes. Then it is 30 % by bank transfer and the rest in cash or by card at the door.
After you press send
One of us reads it and checks the paper book in the office, which is the only book there is. You get a reply with one apartment, one total and the deposit figure.
Bank transfer of 30 %. Until that lands the dates are held, not booked, and we will tell you plainly if somebody else asks for the same week in the meantime.
We ask for your train or flight, your plate if you are driving, and your breakfast hour. If you want a place at the Thursday table, that is when to say so.
Somebody is at the door until 23:00. Later than that and we meet in the morning; there is no key safe and no code, and we would rather you waited than fumbled in the dark.
The year, as the book has it
Figures are for 101, the smallest door. Every other number moves by the same proportion, so the gap between the cheapest and the dearest week never changes.
A calendar widget would let you book 201 in August without anybody telling you it has no air conditioning, and then you would arrive and be unhappy, and we would both be right. So a person answers instead, and it costs us a day and saves us an argument.
The commission a portal takes is between 15 % and 18 %. We keep it and spend it on the linen, the laundry van and the bread, which is the whole of the difference you can see in the photographs.
