Eighteen plates · shot over four days in September by Nella Ficarra
Every photograph in the house is filed the way a book files them: a number, a place, and the time on the clock when the shutter went. Nothing here is styled and nothing is a render.
Plate 01 · the arch from inside · 18:10
301 at twenty to six, curtain held back with the belt of a dressing gown because the tieback had not arrived. We kept the photograph and never bought the tieback.
Plates 11 — 15
Plates 16 — 18, and the rest of the file
The negatives are in a box in the office and anybody who asks may look at them. Prints of any plate are 40 € framed, which pays for the next roll and nothing else.
If a room looks darker here than you want, say so and we will send you the one that faces the street instead.
